Services
Furniture Restoration
Specialist restoration of antique and modern furniture using traditional techniques. We handle complete room suites, individual pieces, and heritage items requiring historical accuracy. Our process combines expert assessment, material matching, and precision craftsmanship to preserve original character while ensuring structural integrity for future generations.
French Polishing
Traditional French polishing applied by skilled artisans to achieve authentic period finishes. This meticulous process enhances wood grain while providing durable protection. We use shellac-based finishes and time-honoured techniques to match original surfaces on antique furniture and architectural woodwork.
Commercial Restoration
Tailored restoration services for hospitality and commercial clients including hotels, restaurants, and heritage buildings. We offer out-of-hours work to minimise disruption, detailed condition reporting, and insurance-compliant documentation. Our team handles large-scale projects from staircase restoration to complete interior refurbishments.
Staircase Restoration
Comprehensive restoration of period staircases including handrails, balustrades, and treads. We address structural issues, wear damage, and historical accuracy requirements. Techniques include timber replacement, traditional joinery, and finish restoration to revive original architectural features in listed buildings and private residences.
Insurance Work
Specialist insurance claim restoration services with detailed documentation and transparent processes. We work directly with insurers and policyholders to assess damage, provide cost estimates, and execute repairs to approved standards. Our comprehensive insurance coverage ensures secure handling of valuable items throughout the restoration process.
