Services
French Polishing
French polishing applies liquid shellac in multiple layers to create a high-gloss finish on wooden furniture. This traditional technique enhances grain visibility while preserving the natural warmth of wood. Ideal for antiques and heirlooms, it allows seamless repairs without visible patching. Our 40-year expertise ensures flawless results that protect and beautify surfaces.
Antique Restoration
Specialist restoration for antique furniture including veneer replacement, stain removal, and structural repairs. We use period-appropriate materials and techniques to maintain historical integrity while extending the lifespan of valuable pieces. Our process balances preservation with functional improvement for collectors and homeowners alike.
Lacquer Finishing
Traditional lacquer application for modern and period furniture, handrails, and staircases. This durable finish provides a mirror-like surface resistant to wear while highlighting wood grain. Our method combines modern durability with classic aesthetics, suitable for high-traffic areas requiring long-lasting protection.
Stain Removal
Professional removal of water marks, burns, and surface stains from wooden furniture. We employ chemical and mechanical techniques to restore original appearance without damaging underlying finishes. This service includes colour matching to ensure seamless integration with existing surfaces, preserving the item's visual continuity.
Veneer Replacement
Precision replacement of damaged or missing veneers using matching wood species and adhesives. Our process involves careful grain alignment and finishing to create invisible repairs. This service restores structural integrity and aesthetic value to furniture affected by age, moisture, or physical damage.
