Services
Door Stripping
We specialise in stripping and restoring antique wooden doors using traditional methods. Our process removes paint and varnish to reveal original wood, followed by repairs and finishing with wax or lacquer. This service preserves historical integrity while enhancing durability for modern use.
Fireplace Restoration
Our fireplace restoration service revives original features through careful stripping and black leading techniques. We supply spare parts like bars and mantles, and fit new tiles to complete the transformation. This work restores period charm to fireplaces and surrounds.
Furniture Stripping
We restore wooden and cast iron furniture by removing old finishes through caustic solutions or hand-stripping. This process prepares pieces for waxing, lacquering, or repainting, giving antique items a renewed appearance while maintaining structural integrity.
Painted Furniture
Our painted furniture service transforms stripped items with custom colour finishes. We apply modern paints in various styles from classic white to shabby chic, creating bespoke pieces that blend historical character with contemporary aesthetics for homes and gardens.
Antique Sales
We sell a range of restored antique doors, fireplaces, and furniture. Our showroom displays Victorian pine doors, Edwardian fireplaces, and original wood pieces, alongside reproduction items. This service provides customers with authentic period features for home restoration projects.
