Crafting Bespoke Kitchens & Cabinetry in Edinburgh
Studio Carpentry was founded in 2013 as a small workshop with a clear ambition to create kitchens and cabinetry that feel personal, practical, and built to last. Over the past decade, we have grown into a skilled team operating from a 4,000 sq. ft. workshop in Livingston, earning a reputation for our design-led process, considered detail, and hands-on approach. Our team combines traditional joinery skills with contemporary methodology and considered design to create work that feels timeless, functional, and well-placed. We have completed over 320 projects, each one tailored to the needs of its context with clarity of form and a focus on refined, functional detail. Our approach is rooted in tradition, defined by proportion, and tailored to the way people live.We take pride in being approachable, reliable, and exacting in what we do, guided by clarity in communication, honesty in execution, and care in the details. Our studio is built on long-standing relationships with clients, suppliers, and one another, and we see our role as collaborators who listen carefully and respond thoughtfully. We aim to leave our clients with something that feels not only well made but truly considered. Our culture is built on mutual respect for craft, process, and those we work with, with integrity driving everything we do. We take ownership of our work, pay attention to the details others might miss, and always aim to leave behind something considered, useful, and quietly beautiful.
